Whenever a cricket fan hears the name RCB, they do not associate with many tournaments won but the ladies team changed that today as after a long 17 year wait for RCB fans the team delivered winning the 2nd edition of the WPL against the Dehli Capitals!

It was a brilliant game taken down to the last ball as Richa Ghosh stood calm and delivered a comprehensive victory with Ellyse Perry winner of the Orange cap this season, stats wise RCB was able to restrict the Dehli Capitals to a measly 113 runs with brilliant bowling from youngster Shreyanka Patil who was able to cease the Purple cap and take important wickets today of Meg Lanning which set the tone and clean up the tailenders. While Molineux and Asha contributed by taking some wickets as well so all-round the spinners did a very good job and this bowling performance put RCB on top as from the Dehli.
